Trinity Square Development in Gateshead Centre

May 2013 saw the long awaited opening of the new Trinity Square Development in Gateshead Centre for which Waymid Electrics Ltd were the main electrical sub-contractor for Shepherd Engineering Services at Trinity Square, Gateshead where we were responsible for electrical installation of all Plant Rooms and Sub Mains Cabling, 1000 Bedrooms, 203 Kitchens, Student Hub Area, Sports Pitch, External and Architectural Lighting. This is an 18 month contract and on schedule for completion in December 2013.

As well as access to a new European style public square, Trinity Square is now home to one of the largest Tesco stores in the region, a 9 screen Vue cinema, Trinity Square Health Centre, Northumbria University Student Accommodation and a mix of retail, food and leisure establishments.
